Fabri Studio specializes in mural painting, decorative faux finishes, gilding, and ornamentation suitable for liturgical spaces, as well as the restoration and custom painting of statuary. Attention to detail sets us apart, as we strives to reflect in some way the magnificent beauty of the created world, where the artistry of God the Creator is manifested.
Emese earned her art degree from Janus Pannonius University in Hungary where she studied 14th century frescoes in Northern Italy and stone/plaster sculpting. Coming to the U.S., she attended several prominent finishing schools learning faux and decorative finishes, receiving training in a full range of classical applications, including wood graining, marbling, patinas, glazing and various architectural finishes.
Yeinier received his Bachelors of Fine Art from Memphis College of Art, and a Masters from Columbia College in Chicago. After grad school, he began to work for ecclesiastical restoration companies, gaining experience applying his love for Sacred Art to new projects. He is versed in the visual language of biblical and liturgical symbolism, ensuring each project the studio undertakes is in line with the artistic traditions of the Church.
Emese and Yeinier began collaborating in 2022. They share a passion for beauty and a firm dedication to fine craftsmanship, no matter the challenge.
Based in Memphis, Tennessee.
The studio name comes from the Latin faber, for craftsman or artisan. It encompasses our shared skills and the humble trade of the patron of our studio, St. Joseph.
